It’s been 20 years since Angel premiered on the former WB network.  As a spin-off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel proved that a drama about a vampire with a soul could thrive on it’s own.  After 5 successful seasons, Angel ended in May 2004.

New York Comic-Con is bringing the cast of Angel back together for a 20 year reunion!  The panel will include Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia), Alexis Denisof (Wesley), Amy Acker (Fred/Illyria), J. August Richards (Gunn), and James Marsters (Spike), all of which will be in attendance at the convention.  David Boreanaz, who played the title character, hasn’t been added to the lineup as of yet, but there may be a good chance he will be, so fingers crossed!

New York Comic-Con is running October 3-6 at the Javits Center. For tickets and other information about the convention, go here.
