Ahead of the premiere of the first of two films that will close out the hit anime series Given, a new visual and trailer have been released for Given: Hiiragi Mix.
Now that we’ve seen the development of the relationships between the band’s four core members, this final arc will dive into Mafuyu’s childhood friends, Hiiragi Kashima and Shizusumi Yagi.
And as heard in the trailer, centimillimental returns with another song for the series, “Super Ultra I LOVE YOU.”
Natsuki Kizu’s manga series, Given, ran from 2013 through 2023. The music drama follows the story of the fateful meeting between high school students Ritsuka Uenoyama and Mafuyu Sato. Everything changes for Ritsuka when he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time, leading him to introduce him to the rest of his band — college students Akihiko Kaji and Haruki Nakayama. Given is a boys’ love series that explores the various romantic relationships between its character over the course of several story arcs.
In addition to it’s 11-episode first season, the first film, and the OVA, Given has also been adapted into a stage play, a live-action drama, and an audio drama.
