Nimona is just days away from officially releasing, and Netflix is keeping viewers satiated before the big day. After sharing an earlier clip and the official trailer, the streamer recently dropped a new clip from the movie. And it’s just has chaos-fueled as you would expect.
The new clip features Nimona (Chloë Grace Moretz) and Ballister Boldheart (Riz Ahmed) stuck in a bit of a pickle. But Nimona has the perfect solution — so long as Boldheart doesn’t freak out, of course. So, with the (honestly flimsy) assurance he will not freak out, Nimona shape shifts into a very large rhino, and, yes. Boldheart freaks out. Though in his defense, it’s quite jarring. After Nimona transforms, she easily gets her and Boldheart out of the situation, even showing off some of the other forms she can take.
Based on ND Stevenson’s graphic novel, Nimona centers on Boldheart, a knight-turned-villain who tries to clear his name after he is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. The only person who can help him, though, is a mayhem-loving, shape shifting teen named Nimona. Together, the pair traverse the kingdom to clear Boldheart’s name, and stir up a little trouble along the way.
