This holiday season, The Ed Asner Family Center is partnering with Turner Classic Movies and Whatnot for the retelling of the classic holiday tale It’s a Wonderful Life. Returning for a third consecutive year, Brendan Fraser leads the star-studded cast which also includes Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, JK Simmons, Jean Smart, Ken Jeong, Jim Beaver, Brent Spiner, Phil Lamarr, Chelsea Darnell, Ben Mankiewicz, Dwayne Cox, Max Gadson, Spencer Harte, Lucas Salusky, and Hannah Schindler. The cast will also include the Social Director of TEAFC, Chelsea Darnell, who will play the narrator. Victor Nelli (Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) will direct.
Hosted by Tom Bergeron, the 2022 Virtual Gala benefits The Ed Asner Family Center (TEAFC), which promotes mental health and enrichment programs for children with special needs and their families. The single-night live virtual table read takes place on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. PST.
