FAN EXPO Chicago Announces First Wave of 2023 Guests

FAN EXPO is coming back to Chicago this summer, the ultimate go-to event for everything in sci-fi, horror, anime, comics, gaming, and more, spanning four days. The convention has announced its first wave of 2023 guests for the Windy City, so check below to see who is attending so far!

  • Christina Ricci — Star of The Addams Family live-action movies in the 1990s as Wednesday Addams, Ricci returned to the franchise in Netflix’s hit series Wednesday, playing Marilyn Thornhill. She can also be seen in movies such as Now and Then and Casper, and the series Yellowjackets. She is set to appear on Saturday and Sunday, with autographs for $60 and photo ops for $80.
  • Henry Winkler — Becoming a household name beginning in the 1970s when he starred as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli in Happy Days, Winkler has had a prolific career and has worked on shows such as the original MacGyver, Sightings, The Hollywood Squares, Arrested Development, Barry, and more. He is set to appear on Saturday and Sunday, with autographs for $60, table photos for $60, and photo ops for $80.
  • Bonnie Wright — Best known as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, the actress can also be seen in 2018’s A Christmas Carol, King of the Hill, and My Dad Is Scrooge. She is set to appear on Saturday and Sunday, with autographs for $60 and photo ops for $80.
  • Steve Burns — The original host of the beloved children’s program Blue’s Clues is bringing his handy dandy notebook to Chicago! Burns hosted the series from 1996 to 2002 but has since returned to the role on numerous occasions for Blue’s Clues & You! as well as the 2022 Paramount+ movie Blue’s Big City Adventure. He is set to appear on Saturday and Sunday, with autographs for $50 and photo ops for $70.
  • Emily Swallow — You may know her as Amara/The Darkness on Supernatural or The Armorer on The Mandalorian, but Swallow can also be seen in The Mentalist and can be heard in The Last of Us Part II. She is set to appear on Saturday and Sunday, with autographs for $55 and photo ops for $75.
  • Brent Spiner — Starring as android Lieutenant Commander Data in the Star Trek franchise, Spiner can also be seen on Independence Day and its sequel, Outcast, Night Court, The Aviator, and more, with credits in theater, music, and publishing as well. He is set to appear on Saturday and Sunday, with autographs for $60 and photo ops for $80.
  • Tom Wilson — Best known as the bully Biff Tannen and his various ancestors in the Back to the Future trilogy, Wilson can also be seen in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Freaks & Geeks, Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, and more. He is set to appear on Friday and Saturday, with autographs for $60, table photos for $60, and photo ops for $80.
  • Peter Weller — Best known for the RoboCop films, Weller can also be seen in Partners, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, The Last Ship, Star Trek Into Darkness, and more. He is set to appear on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but autograph and photo op prices are currently unknown.

FAN EXPO Chicago will take place Thursday, August 10 – Sunday, August 13 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. More guests will be announced, so stay tuned for updates! Check out the official website for more information and to buy tickets.
