‘The Company You Keep’: Milo Ventimiglia Drama Gets Series Order From ABC

ABC is adding to its midseason schedule! They have picked up a new series called The Company You Keep, which stars Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us) and Catherine Haena Kim (Good Trouble) as the leads. Ventimiglia’s Charlie is a con-man who starts to fall for a CIA agent named Emma, played by Kim, that he has a one-night stand with.

The official description for the show reads:

“Charlie ramps up the ‘family business’ so he can get out for good, while Emma’s closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie’s family debts in-hand — forcing them to reckon with the lies they’ve told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences.”

Other cast members include William Fichtner, Tim Chiou, Freda Foh Shen, James Saito, Sarah Wayne Callies, Felisha Terrell, and Polly Draper.

Phil Klemmer and Julia Cohen are co-showrunners. Cohen is also writing and executive producing. Ventimiglia, Russ Cundiff,

Jon M. Chu, Caitlin Foito, Todd Harthan, and Lindsay Goffman will be executive producing. Deanna Harris will be producing. Ben Younger is directing the pilot as well as executive producing. Ventimiglia, Cundiff, and Harris are with DiVide Pictures. Chu and Foito are with Electric Somewhere.
