Get Spooky With Rob Zombie’s ‘The Munsters’ First Trailer

Horror favorite Rob Zombie is back and this time he’s taking on a classic as he reimagines The Munsters!

Known best for horror flicks like House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, Zombie is heading in a new direction with his upcoming remake of the classic sitcom. His version of The Munsters is set to have a PG rating and tell the strangest love story ever told!

Starring Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, and Daniel Roebuck as The Count, the film follows Lily and Herman’s crazy courtship from Transylvania to Hollywood on a hauntingly hilarious trip. The trailer teases this hilarity and promises fans of the original show a true to character and overall theme reimagining.

The film is set to premiere sometime in September this year, and should be fun for the whole family. Watch the full trailer below and check back as we get closer to September for mor of The Munsters!

LeeAnn is children's librarian who joined Nerds and Beyond in 2020 as a way to stretch her writing skills and connect with others who have the same pop culture passions as she does. She loves music, reading (obviously), and any TV show that can grab and hold her attention. Currently some of her favorite things to nerd out over include Supernatural, Prodigal Son, Louden Swain and Percy Jackson (books, theater, or upcoming show - lets leave the movies out of it).
