Following an emotional and beautiful LGBTQ-filled end to 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s third season, which you can read about here, stars Ronen Rubinstein and Brian Michael Smith have been announced as part of the lineup for next month’s The Outfronts, a TV festival from LGBTQ+ film festival and nonprofit organization Outfest. The Outfronts had its inaugural festival last year.

The festival, set to take place starting June 3 for four days, will be both virtual and in-person in Los Angeles. It “will feature panel discussions with the casts and crews of some of our favorite LGBTQ+ series, advance screenings,” and the world premiere of Peacock’s Queer as Folk reboot.

Rubinstein and Smith will participate in the “Queer Firefighters On-Screen & IRL” in-person event, with more talent TBA. The full description of the panel is below:

“Come join us at the OutFronts Firehouse as your favorite queer firefighters on TV (and there are a lot of queer firefighters on TV these days!) sit down with their real-life counterparts to discuss being queer and saving lives.”

The panel will take place in person on Saturday, June 4 at 3 p.m. PST at NeueHouse Hollywood. Fans can order tickets for just $22.05 apiece here, and can also make a donation to Outfest if they want.

More information on the lineup can be found here, with additional information on the 2022 Outfronts at the official website.
