‘Disenchanted’ Gets Release Date and First Look

After a couple of years of much anticipation, Disney has finally set a release date for its upcoming Enchanted sequel, Disenchanted! The film will release this Thanksgiving, November 24, exclusively on Disney+. Along with the release date, Disney shared a first look image of Amy Adams and Maya Rudolph (below).

Disenchanted picks up 10 years after the events of Enchanted. Giselle has her happily ever after, but she soon begins to question her happiness. In doing so, she inadvertently affects the lives of those in the real world and in Andalasia.

Disenchanted will see Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel reprise their Enchanted roles. Joining them are Maya Rudolph, Jayma Mays, Oscar Nuñez, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Gabriella Baldacchino, among others.

Enchanted first released in 2007. It follows Adams’ Giselle, a soon-to-be princess who finds herself transported from the animated world of Andalasia to modern-day, live-action New York City. When she meets and falls for a handsome lawyer named Robert, Giselle finds her views of romance will be tested.

Disenchanted releases November 24 on Disney+. In the meantime, Enchanted is available to stream now on the platform. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
