‘The Northman’ Available Soon On Demand

The beautiful yet brutal Viking saga The Northman will soon be available to view in the comfort of your own home. This Friday, May 13, the historical drama directed by the uniquely talented Robert Eggers will be on demand while the film completes its theatrical run.

The Northman stars Alexander Skarsgård as the title character Amleth. After watching his father be brutally murdered he makes a vow — to avenge his father, save his mother, and kill the man who took his father’s life. Along his quest of revenge he encounters the fierce Olga, played by the talented Anya Taylor-Joy. The two find their fates tied together and must learn to rely on each other. With the talents of Nicole Kidman, Ethan Hawke, Claes Bang, and many more bringing this epic tale to life, viewers will be enthralled from the first scene.

This film is a look at the barbaric reality of the Viking culture. While being highly historically accurate, there is also a large supernatural aspect that adds another level to the movie. Based on the legend that inspired Shakespeare’s Hamlet, The Northman is a film that will leave viewers thinking long after the credits have rolled.

Make sure to check out The Northman in theaters now, or on demand beginning May 13th. To set a reminder you can head to the film’s website! You can find our review of the The Northman here.
