‘Star Trek’ Cast Reuniting for Fourth Film

During Paramount’s Investors Day Presentation, J.J. Abrams announced that the original cast of his Star Trek film franchise is in talks to return for the fourth installment.

Star Trek 4 has been in the works for quite some time, with many directors pitching ideas including Quentin Tarantino on an episode of ID10T with Chris Hardwick (formerly The Nerdist Podcast.)

Abrams said the film will begin shooting at the end of the year. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, and Simon Pegg have been together since 2009’s Star Trek which produced two sequel films, 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond in 2016.
