In the latest hilarious episode of Resident Alien, fans can be prepared to cheer out loud with the women of Patience as they find out about some outdated views in the town and take a stand. Plus, viewers see the outcome of the standoff between Harry (Alan Tudyk), Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds), and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen). There was a flashback of some of the characters when they were kids and on a camping trip in the woods.

Mayor Hawthorne (Levi Fiehler) tries to make a travel video to get more people to come to Patience after seeing a rival Mayor make one talking about how they have no murders and body parts in their lake. Also, Sahar (Gracelyn Awad Rinke) helps Max (Judah Prehn) as he goes through some more “growing” pains.

Date Night

Harry becomes intrigued after meeting Kate’s (Meredith Garretson) cousin Carlyn (Alex Borstein) and learning that she works at the New Mexico Tech lab as a scientist and understands what he is trying to build but has the pieces that Harry needs to complete his. But how does he get the tech that he needs? Harry uses the fact that Carlyn thinks he is cute, asks her out on a date, and tries to get her to take him to her lab.

Asta (Sara Tomko) sees what Harry is doing and angrily talks to him—pointing out how wrong it is to seduce Carlyn to get what he wants and then toss her aside. Asta gets Harry to understand her and other women’s points of view. He leaves quickly after that.

The way that Harry decides to get what he needs from Carlyn is still incredibly hurtful to Asta. Harry puts her in a trance and takes her form, just like he did with Asta. They go to New Mexico to Carlyn’s lab, looking like her, and get advances from a male employee who has been harassing the real Carlyn. Harry/Carlyn takes matters into their own hands and attacks him. The following day, Carlyn wakes up on her couch thinking she drove home and fell asleep.

Girl Power

D’Arcy (Alice Wetterlund) waits on Ben, Kate, and Carlyn at The 59 and invites the two women to join them for a girl’s night., explaining that when the message goes out for a GN59, they drop what they are doing and all gather to support and have a night out.

The attendees for this GN59 are Asta, D’Arcy, Kate, Liv, Judy (Jenna Lamia), Kayla (Sarah Podemski), and Carlyn. After starting the evening at the bar, they head to the yacht spot in the woods for more drinking and dancing. The car they are using is Liv’s, and it breaks down, which the group learns is nothing new. She doesn’t have much money to get it fixed and reveals to them that she has never gotten a raise. Ever the protector and righter of wrongs, D’Arcy says that is bullshit and since Kate is the mayor’s wife has the keys to her husband’s office and the town information on salaries. Kate discovers that a male colleague who just started is working makes more than her. All fired up; they go to the source. The mayor. They wake him up and tell him that it needs to be fixed for Liv and the women.
