Space Force season 2 is almost here! In May 2020, Netflix debuted a new original series titled Space Force, created by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) and Steve Carell. Today, Netflix set the release date for the second season! Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on February 18.
Space Force follows General Mark R. Naird (Carell), who’s tasked with heading the newest sixth branch of the military: Space Force. Naird works closely with a group of scientists to get “boots on the moon by 2024.”
When we last saw our characters, they arrived on the moon and set up base. But they weren’t alone. The Chinese also set up camp in another area. Because the two groups are in competition, the US team decides to sabotage the Chinese base. When they return, however, they find the Chinese destroyed their base, too. Season 2 will see the aftermath of the incident. Meanwhile, Naird must make a few difficult decisions. We may also finally learn why General Naird’s wife Maggie (Lisa Kudrow) is incarcerated.
