Fans of DC Comics’ caped crusader have waited over a year for a second trailer for the upcoming film featuring the character, The Batman. Ahead of the second trailer’s release at DC FanDome, scheduled for October 16, fans received a new look at two of the movie’s biggest characters: Robert Pattison’s Batman and Paul Dano’s The Riddler.

The official movie Twitter also released a short teaser clip to announce the second trailer is coming, which can be seen below. “It’s not just a signal; it’s a warning” is the featured line for this clip, adding to the promise that this will be a darker exploration of the caped crusader than audiences have previously received.

The Batman is a reboot of the iconic DC Comics property spanning all the way back to 1939. Pattinson will lead in the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman alongside Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, and Dano as The Riddler. The Batman is written by Matt Reeves and Mattson Tomlin.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the next trailer ahead of the movie’s March 4, 2022 release!
