‘Boy Kills World’: Samara Weaving, Bill Skarsgård, and Yayan Ruhian to Star in Film

Revenge fantasy action film Boy Kills World has landed its leading stars in Samara Weaving, Bill Skarsgård, and Yayan Ruhian. Deadline was the first to report.

Directed by Moritz Mohr and produced by Sam Raimi and Roy Lee, Boy Kills World is set in a dystopian fever dream reality. Skarsgård will play Boy, a deaf-mute with a vibrant imagination. After his family is murdered he travels to the jungle where he’s trained to suppress his imagination by a shaman (Ruhian) in order to become an instrument of death. Weaving will play an assassin named June 27.

Production will begin in South Africa in 2022.
