Prime Releases New ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ Character Images

Prime has been hyping up their upcoming Red, White & Royal Blue movie this week with several new tweets from the film’s official Twitter account. The most recent blessing for fans? A series of shots of Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), one of the movie’s two male leads.

As anyone familiar with the movie’s source material, Red, White & Royal Blue, the novel by Casey McQuiston, will already be aware, Alex is the son of US President Ellen Claremont, making him the first Mexican-American First Son of the United States.

Red White & Royal Blue is the story of Alex’s rivalry-turned-friendship-turned-romance with Prince Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor of England (Nicholas Galitzine). The two begin the movie in a sticky spot, risking an international incident that has their families forcing them to play nice for the cameras. Being buddies in front of the press turns into something far more, risking an international incident of a whole different kind.

McQuiston’s book was a New York Times bestseller when in released in 2019, and has been topping lists again in anticipation of Prime’s upcoming adaptation.

Check out the new Alex images below, and be sure to check back here for all your Red, White & Royal Blue updates as we close in on the August 11 premiere date.
