The Holiday Season Comes to Universal Orlando November 13

Universal Orlando has announced some of the festivities that will be gracing the resort for the holiday season. The celebrations, all included with theme park admission, will be available from November 13 through January 2.

Make sure you check out Christmas in “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”. Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and London will all be beautifully decorated for the holidays. To really get that holiday feeling, grab a hot butterbeer and listen to Christmas carols sung by the Frog Choir or wizarding holiday hits by Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees. Finish the perfect day as Hogwarts lights up the evening with “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show.

Also make sure to check out the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular Show”. This live show retells the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas story. Seuss Landing will also be transformed into a winter wonderland in true Who-ville style. Residents of Who-ville will also be out and about spreading their holiday cheer.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will also be returning to Universal Studios Florida. It will feature 30 huge balloons, floats and hundreds of performers. There will be appearances by characters from fan-favorite films including Despicable Me, Shrek and Madagascar. Of course, no holiday parade would be complete without a visit from Santa Claus!

You definitely won’t want to miss out on these festivities at the Universal Orlando Resort. Alongside these events, there will also be plenty of themed food, drinks and merchandise. For more information, check out the Universal Orlando website. Make sure you check out the trailer below!
