It’s time for Haddonfield to take back their town in the upcoming horror movie Halloween Kills, and with a new featurette fans get an inside look on how the town will do just that. Check out the clip below for an inside look at the movie.
2018’s Halloween, starring icon Jamie Lee Curtis and directed by David Gordon Green, killed at the box office, earning more than $250 million worldwide. This earned the 2018 movie the title of the highest-grossing chapter in the four-decade franchise. The opening also set a new record for the biggest opening weekend in history for a horror film starring a woman.
Halloween Kills is written by Scott Teems, Danny McBride, and David Gordon Green based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, all returning from 2018’s Halloween. David Gordon Green directs Halloween Kills with producers Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block. The executive producers are John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Ryan Freimann. Universal Pictures, Miramax, Blumhouse Productions, and Trancas International Films present Halloween Kills.
Co-starring alongside Curtis is Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Thomas Mann (Kong: Skull Island), and Anthony Michael Hall (The Dark Knight).
Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked murderer Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his bloodbath resumes, tormenting the town once more.. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands. The mob has one goal: Kill Michael Myers.
