The first two episodes of Sarah Wayne Callies’ scripted thriller podcast Aftershock are available for listening pleasure starting today!
Callies is not only the brains behind the production as creator, director, and producer, she stars opposite Jeffrey Dean Morgan and David Harbour. The latter duo also acts as executive producers.
From iHeartRadio, Nomadic Engine and Salmira Productions, Aftershock takes place in the wake of the largest recorded earthquake in US history in the City of Angels, Los Angeles.
“… hundreds of thousands of people are dead or unaccounted for, and a mysterious island has risen up just off the coast of the city. Cassie Wallace (Callies) and Wayne Sharpe (Harbour) embark on a dangerous journey to the island to save her daughter who is stranded there. However, they aren’t alone. Doomsday preppers, indigenous activists, and a utopian cult all arrive to claim their piece of the new island – and then people start dying.”
The all-star cast also includes Tati Gabrielle, Janel Parrish, Russell Hornsby, Rockmond Dunbar, Tovah Feldshuh, Bethany Joy Lenz, Michael O’Neill, Austin Amelio, and EJ Bonilla.
