A new Pokémon game with a unique premise was teased earlier this year, and as of today we now have a set release date for the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus! Players can get started creating the Sinnoh region’s very first Pokédex on January 28, 2022.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set to take the franchise in a bold new direction, honoring the core gameplay of past Pokémon games while also infusing new action and RPG elements. Players will be responsible for catching, surveying, and researching wild Pokémon of a long-gone era, set in the Sinnoh region in the days before Pokémon Trainers and Pokémon Leagues even existed.
The starter Pokémon found in this game will be Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott.
