If you’re a fan of My Hero Academia or Dragon Ball Z, it’s time to get excited, because FanExpo Dallas and MegaCon Orlando have announced Christopher Sabat as their newest celebrity guest!

Sabat is an actor, producer, line producer and ADR director at Funimation. He is also the Voice Director for Dragon Ball Z, providing the voices of Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha, Mr. Popo, Korin, Burter, Shenron, Zarbon, Guru, and countless others. Beyond this, he has voiced a number of other memorable characters, from All Might in My Hero Academia to Alex Louis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist to Garland in the game Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

For both MegaCon and FanExpo Dallas, Sabat is set to appear Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Neither convention has announced photo ops or autograph sessions yet, but we do expect them to be offered soon. Additionally, the conventions have not yet announced any panels that will feature Sabat, but there is no doubt that over three days fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the star in action.

Both conventions faced delays and ultimately cancellation in 2020 and are now set to take place August 12 through 15 (MegaCon) and September 17 through 19 (FanExpo). Christopher Sabat joins Dave Bautista, William Shatner, George Takei, and the four hobbits (Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd) as celebrity guest for the event. If these names don’t quite hit the spot for you, don’t worry, as we can still expect more guest announcements over the coming months.

Be sure to check back here for updates as we get closer to the dates, and make sure to visit the MegaCon Orlando and FanExpo Dallas websites to buy your tickets.
