‘Star Wars: The High Republic’ Authors To Participate in Livestream Event
It’s time to celebrate a new era of Star Wars! The day before the new publishing campaign releases its first stories to fans across the galaxy, some of the authors will be taking part in a special Star Wars: The High Republic livestream event.
All five authors behind the launch stories of The High Republic — Claudia Gray (Into the Dark), Justina Ireland (A Test of Courage), Daniel José Older (IDW Publishing’s The High Republic Adventures), Cavan Scott (Marvel’s The High Republic), and Charles Soule (Light of the Jedi) — will be featured in this livestream. Lucasfilm Publishing’s Michael Siglain and StarWars.com’s Kristin Baver will also be participating.
According to StarWars.com, fans will be able to get fresh insights into the characters and events of The High Republic. They can also expect new announcements and reveals for what’s to come during the event.
Star Wars: The High Republic will consist of adult and young adult novels, children’s books, and comics. These will be set about 200 years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, when the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order are the most powerful. This period in the timeline will not overlap with any of the films or series.
The livestream event will take place on January 4, 2021 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. You will be able to watch it on StarWars.com and the official Star Wars Youtube Channel. Stay tuned for more on Star Wars: The High Republic.
