The My Favorite Murder family sadly lost one of its members last week. If you are a Murderino, you know about Elvis, the beloved Siamese cat (belonging to co-host Georgia Hardstark) who recently passed away. Elvis was born in 2004 and quickly became a beloved addition to the podcast, inspiring one of the well-known quotes of the show, “Elvis, you want a cookie?”At the end of each episode, Georgia would ask him this question and Elvis would always answer with a purr or a meow.

Following the sad news, fans of the show were quick to ask about a way to donate in memory of the beloved Siamese. The My Favorite Murder team shared the following message about the Cookies for Elvis fundraiser:
We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of sympathy and support from the MFM community in the wake of Elvis’ passing.
Many of you have asked if you could make a donation in his name, so the MFM Crew set up this “Cookies for Elvis” fundraiser to benefit the ASPCA.
Each “cookie” is a $5 donation with all proceeds benefitting the ASPCA in Elvis Hardstark’s name. You can also learn more about the ASPCA and donate directly to them here.
The official fundraiser announcement is available on Twitter :
