Well, 2020 may have been a bust, but 2021 is starting to look up.

Chris Evans has been confirmed for a role in Adam McKay’s upcoming Netflix political satire film, Don’t Look Up. The film has a star-studded cast already, featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in the two lead roles as two low-level astronauts trying to warn the world about an asteroid heading straight to destroy Earth. Also confirmed for the film are Cate Blanchett, Rob Morgan, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Matthew Perry, Tyler Perry, and Ron Perlman.

Don’t Look Up has begun filming, but no release date has been revealed after the production’s initial COVID delay. It will be available on Netflix.

Chris Evans is lined up for a jam-packed 2021. He is confirmed for roles in the remake of the popular musical Little Shop of Horrors and the spy thriller The Gray Man from the Russo Brothers alongside Ryan Gosling. He is also rumored for a role in Bermuda from Scott Derrickson.
