HBO Launches ‘His Dark Materials’ App: Create Your Own Daemon!

Fans of the His Dark Materials books or hit HBO show now have the opportunity to bring the magic of the series to their phone! HBO has released a new app titled “His Dark Materials: My Daemon,” an alternate reality game that allows users to create their very own daemon after taking a personality quiz. Once created, the daemon syncs with health data on your phone to subtly encourage self-care for users.

There are also opportunities to play with other iconic characters from the show like Lyra and Lee Scoresby. The app is available now on Apple devices (sorry Android users!). Season 2 of His Dark Materials premieres November 16 on HBO.
