The nominations for the 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced today, and HBO’s dystopian drama, The Last of Us, dominated with an astonishing 24 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series, and Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series.

The Last of Us takes place 20 years after a global pandemic destroys civilization, and a hardened survivor named Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) takes charge of a 14-year-old girl who may be humanity’s last hope.

The first season of The Last of Us is available for streaming on Max.
