The Boys star Chace Crawford appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan today to discuss the show, staying fit, and one of his quarantine activities.

The Amazon Prime Video hit series The Boys follows a group of vigilantes who fight back against a group of corrupt celebrity superheroes that are bankrolled by the equally villainous corporation Vought. Season 2 premiered on October 4, with new episodes streaming weekly on Fridays.

With a form-fitting superhero costume like that of The Deep, Crawford puts in some work to stay fit while filming. Kelly and Ryan commented on being “mesmerized” by the vein in his bicep, and Crawford went on to explain that he keeps up with his physique with a mixture of working out and some healthy dieting.

Crawford took MasterClass cooking classes during his time in quarantine, though he’s still not too confident in his abilities in the kitchen.

So what are Crawford’s flaws? When asked, he laid some of them out honestly on the table — he’s not good at golf or cooking, and he can’t sing too well.

Finally, Crawford gave a quick overview of how The Deep’s storyline started off this season, as he found himself at rock bottom and was then bailed out of jail by a D-list superhero and initiated into a cult-like church.

Catch Crawford in season 2 of The Boys, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Episode 6 will premiere this Friday, September 25.
