Teaser Trailer for ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’ Released at DC FanDome

There was another video game announcement at the virtual DC FanDome event on August 22. Rocksteady Studios, the team behind the Batman Arkham series, was rumored to be working on a new Superman and new Suicide Squad game. Well, I guess those were true, because in the announced game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League they are going up against Superman and the rest of the heroes. In the August 7 teaser image, you can see from Superman’s face that something doesn’t seem quite right.

The game is not linked to the films and will be a separate entity in the Arkham universe. In the teaser trailer for the game, we can hear Waller’s voice talking to the four members of Task Force X — Harley Quinn, King Shark, Boomerang, and Deadshot. There will be other playable characters, and the weapons that are tied to them will be usable as well. Metropolis has been taken over by Brainiac and taken control of the Justice League. It has the banter that we love from the characters as well.

Boomerang: “So, figure out who we’re killing yet?”
The other three of Task Force X point to Superman.
Boomerang: “Awe, Fu…”
We see Superman gets hit by a boomerang.
Boomerang: “You shouldn’t have done that, Shark.”

Filled with amazing graphics, the video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is said to be released in 2022. Watch the teaser trailer below while we anxiously await a gameplay video.
