In this twisted tale, Kevin Bacon plays Theo Conroy, a father desperately fighting to save his family from their magnificent vacation home that refuses to let them leave. Theo is a successful middle-aged man married to a much younger woman, Susanne (Amanda Seyfried), but their picturesque marriage is slowly falling apart. In hopes of salvaging their marriage, Theo, Susanne, and their six-year-old daughter take a vacation to a gorgeous and remote home in the Welsh countryside. What seemed like the perfect family retreat will soon turn into something far more sinister when the evil forces within the house take over.
