In this week’s episode of Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, host Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville) welcomes actor James Marsters to discuss Marsters’ experiences on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, his work on-screen and on-stage before being cast in the fan-favorite role of Spike, raising his five year old niece and more:
James Marsters (‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Dragonball’) joins me this week to share his experiences with acting as an art on-screen and on-stage before his breakout in ‘Buffy’. James also opens up on what it was like to have to take in his five year old niece and having to raise her as his own after already being a ‘weekend dad.’ We also get into stories back in the day on the set of ‘Smallville’, the idea of competition in art, and James’ experience with some of the cast and crew on ‘Buffy’.
James Marsters has played many roles on television including Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Victor Stein on The Runaways, Milton Fine in Smallville and Captain John Hart in Torchwood. He recently portrayed the former Time Agent again in the Torchwood Big Finish spin-off The Sins of Captain John. Marsters is also the narrator of the Dresden Files audio-books, the latest volume of which “Peace Talks” is out today.
