LEGO Mickey and Minnie Characters Coming Soon!

Disney and LEGO fans will have the best of both worlds in two news sets announced by LEGO. The sets feature both Mickey and Minnie Mouse, making a set of 1,739 pieces. According to Thrill Geek, the characters resemble an old-time film reel, including the characters’ signatures. Mickey stands at 14 inches tall and Minnie stands at 13 inches tall, which can be beautifully displayed at its completion.

Here’s what LEGO designer Ollie Gregory said about these classic characters:

“We always look to design things that people would like to put on their shelf, including my own, which is why we went for the ‘classic’ Mickey Mouse design with the iconic silhouette and colour palette – as a surprise for builders, the characters insides are built from colourful elements inspired by classic outfits worn by the the pair in the past.”

Make sure to get your own Mickey and Minnie set when it becomes available July 1 from LEGO stores and the LEGO website.
