Singer/songwriter Cobi has released his third single for the year. The new song is titled “Keep Climbing” and joins the ranks of Cobi’s previous two songs of 2020: “Island in My Mind” and “No Way Out.”

First and foremost, “Keep Climbing” boasts a different sound from Cobi while still hanging on to the traits that make his music uniquely his. The song leans more strongly towards rock but includes some synth/electronic elements to it that give it an extra edge.

“Keep Climbing” also offers a great contrast lyrically to Cobi’s previous two releases from this year. Though still immersed in personal lyrics — “If I could get another hour to bring back my father” and the rest of that verse stands out the most for me — it comes across as a more hopeful song about getting out of place that seemingly had, well, “No Way Out.” In fact, while each song tells its own small story, all three of them piece a larger one together seamlessly when you listen to them in the order they released.

“Keep Climbing” is available now on iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Apple Music, and Google Play Music. You can find Cobi on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to stay up to date on new music and upcoming tours. Listen to the new single below.
