Following the release of their feature film Attention Attention, rock band Shinedown has returned their focus back on creating new music for fans to enjoy. After announcing a new album is in the works, Shinedown also dropped the first track, titled “Planet Zero” off the upcoming album of the same name.

Set for release on April 22 via Atlantic Records, Planet Zero will be the band’s seventh studio album, and will be comprised of 20 songs. With the cover art, tracklist, and title track already out, Planet Zero tackles themes involving modern issues, such as the toxic effects of social media on mental health, cancel culture, and how worldwide differing belief systems cause the greatest divides in our society.

While fans still have a few more months to wait for the full album, the title track “Planet Zero” is currently available to stream. As you listen to the new single below, also make sure to pre-save the upcoming album!
