New Chris Evans Clip from ‘Knives Out’ Released
We’re weeks away from the official Thanksgiving release of Rian Johnson’s new murder/mystery whodunnit Knives Out, and a new clip featuring Chris Evans’ character Hugh “Ransom” Drysdale has been released!
Making its debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night, we see Evans character — which he’s referred to as “vile” — arriving at the Thrombey family estate. He’s greeted by two officers of the law investigating the death of his grandfather, renowned author Harlan Thrombey. We get a glimpse into the sour attitude and air of entitlement to Ransom as he brushes the detectives off, continuing to go about his day despite their request for questioning. Also showcased is what is sure to be a quick wit and forked tongue that we can expect from his character, a stark difference from what we’ve seen from Evans for so many years as Steve Rogers.

As far as I’m concerned, that’s America’s asshole. #KnivesOut pic.twitter.com/wnvDTeEXit
