Last year when Manifest debuted, it did extremely well. People were comparing it to Lost, as they loved the concept of a plane vanishing and then coming back five years later and wondering how it happened and what it meant to those involved. Throughout the season, Michaela, Ben, and more were discovering how it’s all connected, and at New York Comic Con, fans got a glimpse of what’s to come in season 2.

The exclusive promo shown at NYCC starts with what happened in season one — the night Flight 828 vanished and reappeared, finding the other passengers, the visions, and more. Then comes a preview of what’s to come in the upcoming season: Michaela is having a vision of her, Ben, and Cal on Flight 828, Ben is still trying to figure out a way to save the passengers despite now having a “death date,” Saanvi says she might have a way to find out what exactly happened with Flight 828, and Ben seemingly gets taken after confronting an unknown person.

Season 1 had its finale back in February, and although there is no exact premiere date for season 2, it was revealed during their panel at NYCC that it will be back sometime in January. From the looks of the promo, it will be well worth the wait. Catch season 2 of Manifest when it premieres in January 2020 on NBC.
