‘1917’ Brings Together an All-Star Cast

1917 is the newest movie from director Sam Mendes, who also directed Skyfall and Spectre. 1917 takes place during World War One, and follows two young British soldiers: Schofield, played by George McKay, and Blake, played by Dean-Charles Chapman. Blake and Schofield are tasked with going behind enemy lines, in order to save Blake’s brother and the group of soldiers that he’s with from a surprise enemy attack.
Sam Mendes directs this gripping story that was written by himself and Krysty Wilson-Cairns. McKay and Chapman are part of a star studded cast along with Colin Firth, Richard Madden, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Andrew Scott.
1917 is set for a limited release on Christmas Day this year, and will premiere worldwide on January 10, 2020. Check out the trailer below!
