Heroes Comic Con Stockholm, taking place at Kistamässan September 13 -15, is the biggest pop culture event in the Nordics. The weekend will be a whirlwind of special guests, panels, heroes talk, cosplay competitions and comic book artists. If you think of yourself as a nerd in even the smallest of ways, chances are you will find something of interest here.

This year’s special guests are Tom Felton (Harry Potter, The Flash), Matthew Mercer (Critical Role, Overwatch), Katherine McNamara (Arrow, The Maze Runner) and Dmitry Glukhovsky (Metro 2033, The Outpost). There will be opportunities for signings, photo ops and stage talks throughout the weekend, so there will definitely be time for interactions with any or all of your faves. Glukhovsky will only be there on the Saturday, to celebrate the release of his latest book, The Outpost, as an audiobook on Storytel. McNamara was only recently announced, so they have yet to release a schedule for her appearances; though she will be there on the Friday and Saturday of the convention. Both Felton and Mercer will be at the convention Saturday and Sunday, and photo op tickets are still available for most of their sessions.

You can visit Comic Village to see stage talks, live drawings and masterclasses with brilliant comic profiles. Amanda Conner (Vampirella, X-Men Unlimited), Joyce Chin (Green Lantern, Spider-Man), Arthur Adams (Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy), Lee Bermejo (Batman, JOKER) and Jimmy Palmiotti (Retrovirus, Painkiller Jane) will all be there, so don’t miss out on seeing these experts at work!

Heroes Comic Con Stockholm is also host to two big cosplay competitions; qualifiers for the Swedish Championship — which takes place at NärCon Summer — and the Swedish qualifiers for the World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan. Come see the top of the top of Swedish cosplayers show off their hard work and craftmanship!

On top of all of this you will be able to see Swedish YouTube profiles Montefjanton and Inga Konstigheter as well as aerialist, cosplayer and make-up artist Miranda Hedman. You will also not want to miss out on the artist alley, getting your picture taken on the Iron Throne at the HBO booth, playing some new games in the gaming zone, chilling out and building something cool at the LEGO booth and snagging yourself some limited edition Pops! at the Funko booth.

All in all, this will be a weekend to remember! Tickets are still available here, and photo ops are sold here.

Despite having been a fangirl for as long as she can remember, it wasn’t until Emelie left the security of her hometown in the north of Sweden for the hustle and bustle of Gothenburg, that she found her tribe and really immersed herself in fandom. She currently works as second line field engineer tech support, and shares her home with cats Loki and Stiles. In her free time you can find her either playing Dungeons & Dragons 5e, or on Twitter (@killingnormalcy) yelling about Critical Role, Marvel, Twenty One Pilots, and Overwatch.
