After 13 seasons, one long wished for actor is joining the hundreds that have walked across the Supernatural screen: Danneel Ackles.

Danneel, who is married to Jensen Ackles who stars in Supernatural as main character Dean Winchester, will be playing a new recurring guest character named Sister Jo. Sister Jo is a faith healer who gets tangled up with Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino.) Her first episode will be the thirteenth episode of season 13, “Devil’s Bargain.”

Danneel had previously appeared in One Tree Hill, as well as Ten Inch Hero, Joey, JAG, and One Life to Live, among many other credits.

Jensen’s costar Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam Winchester, met his wife Genevieve Padalecki in season four of the show. Genevieve played Ruby, a demon in a relationship with Sam but who’s ultimate motives were less than sincere. Since then, fans have often asked the writers and cast when Danneel would appear. At a convention in Toronto on October 8th, 2017, Jensen said he did not know if or when Danneel would appear on the show. Danneel Ackles will premiere as Sister Jo in episode 13 which airs on February 8th and films from December 6th to December 15th. Tune in on The CW at 8 p.m. to catch her debut!
