Among those newly announced Pokémon is:

Magearna: A Steel/Fairy type Artificial Pokémon. Magearna is the newest Mythical Pokémon. It was also introduced with a new move called Fleur Cannon.

A new battle format called Battle Royal will also be introduced in the new games. This will allow four players to be divided in a four-way battle that allows each trainer to fight against each of the other three trainers. Prior to this new feature, Pokémon battles typically consisted of one trainer against another.
