‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ Coming to Theaters and Disney+‘s Premier Access

During Disney’s Investor Day, promising announcements are being made, and they are exciting fans all over the world. For Disney+, they’ve revealed new information regarding the next promising story. Raya and the Last Dragon is set to hit theaters and on Disney+’s Premier Access platform on March 5, 2021.

Disney has also released a first look at the rest of the characters in the film which you can check out in a Twitter thread below.

The Southeast Asia inspired story of Raya and the Last Dragon follows Raya, “a lone warrior” that sets out to “find the last dragon in existence and save the kingdom of Kumandra from the villainous Druun.” The voice of the last dragon Sisu, who at any time can take on a human form, is voiced by Awkwafina (Crazy Rich AsiansShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) with Kelly Marie Tran leading as Raya.
