Matthew Gray Gubler has taken part in this year’s Halloween special of The Talk, “Willy Wonka & The Talk-olate Factory.” It’s no secret how special the season is for Gubler, and he was certainly in his element. The hosts and guests all dressed up as members of the cult film including Sharon Osbourne (as Veruca Salt), Sheryl Underwood (as Violet Beauregarde), Eve (as Mike Teavee), and Carrie Ann Inaba (as Willy Wonka), along with guests Jason Ritter who portrayed Charlie; Dr. Phil McGraw and wife Robin McGraw, who played Grandpa Joe and Grandma Josephine; and Matthew Gray Gubler, who portrayed the iconic Augustus Gloop.
In his introduction, Gubler was asked about the phenomena of Criminal Minds TikTok, which has garnered 1.5 billion views. Completely humble as always, Gubler jokes that 1.3 billion of those views were him posting about Shemar Moore’s “beautiful eyebrows.”
He was also asked about his unauthorized documentary, stating that the most important thing to him has always been comedy and that when he first started posting them, his mom was worried because people thought that his behavior in them was real and not an act.
Closing out his segment, Gubler cashes in his golden ticket for a surprised face pumpkin with his magical skills.
