After the widely successful season 1, Horizons, and season 2, Flight 008, comes the third season of the science fiction audio drama from DUST — CHRYSALIS. This season will consist of 14 episodes, with the first two available on September 16, and a new one every Monday and Wednesday. There is also some good news if you have Stitcher Premium, you will have access to all 14 episodes on the premiere date.

CHRYSALIS will follow the destruction of the human race and a recently awoken A.I. vowing vengeance against the mysterious alien species, no matter the cost. This season will see Emmy nominated Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton) voicing a character, along with executive producing, to which he had this to say:

“Not only did I welcome the opportunity to link arms with Gunpowder & Sky and DUST on their coveted podcast series, but as a fan of the sci-fi genre, I’m also excited to combine my roles as an actor and producer to delve deeper into the creative process. CHRYSALIS is a fresh, expansive, and thought-provoking journey that will transport our listeners and allow them to get lost in the deepest crevices of their imagination.”

This season will also feature the voice talents of Lance Reddick (The Wire), Haley Joel Osment (What We Do In The Shadows), Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire), Matthew Wolf (Days of Our Lives), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), Dominic Rains (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Toni Collette (United States of Tara), and Jaboukie Young-White (The Daily Show).

If you are curious about other content DUST is working on, they recently teamed up with producer John Davis, writer Derek Kolstad, and Black Label Media to create a film based on a previous short film, Time Agent. Now available in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, and the U.K. is the DUST OTT channel, which recently expanded globally. Other recent releases include the series Other Space and the film Sea Fever.

CHRYSALIS will debut on Wednesday, September 16, and can be found on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you listen to podcasts!
