Your favorite characters from Phineas and Ferb are back for the movie event of the summer! Disney+ has released a full-length trailer for their newest original movie that sees everyone from the beloved Disney Channel animated series return. Original voices for Phineas (Vincent Martella), Candace (Ashley Tisdale), Perry the Platypus (Dee Bradley Baker), Isabella (Alyson Stoner), Baljeet (Maulik Pancholy), Buford (Bobby Gaylor), Linda Flynn-Fletcher (Caroline Rhea), Vanessa Doofenshmirtz (Olivia Olson), and Carl (Tyler Mann) will be returning, with David Errigo Jr. voicing Ferb. Series creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh will also be returning to voice Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, respectively.

The film will start with Candace doing what she does best, and that’s trying to bust her brothers. She doesn’t succeed (again) as soon as her mother turns around, andd whatever her brothers were working on disappears. Candace, however, when she tries to get her brothers’ attention and pounds on their newest invention, is abducted, along with Vanessa, by a species from another planet and finds a utopia in her new surroundings. Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet team up with Doofenshmirtz, who has built a Galactic Travel-inator, and they try to save Candace. “I know what we’re gonna do today. It’s me against the universe!”

Phineas and Ferb ran on Disney Channel, and then later Disney XD, from 2007-2015. It had a crossover on the Disney XD show and spin-off sequel series Milo Murphy’s Law in 2017 with Doofenshmirtz, Perry the Platypus, Major Monogram, and Carl joining the cast in recurring roles. All four seasons, as well as the Disney Channel Original Movie Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension are streaming now on Disney+.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe, which takes place before the final episode, premieres on Disney+ on August 28.
