A new trailer for the STARZ original series Hightown created by Rebecca Cutter finally gives us an introduction to Monica Raymund’s character Jackie Quiñones, a National Marine Fisheries Service agent in Cape Cod who enjoys socializing and partying a little too much.
Quiñones’ life is soon changed forever when she discovers a body on the beach, learning that it was another tragic loss to the opioid epidemic. She soon considers that maybe she should become sober herself and becomes intertwined into the investigation, determined to solve the woman’s murder. The series, premiering May 17, also stars Riley Voelkel (Roswell, New Mexico; The Originals), Shane Harper (Awkward; Good Luck Charlie), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), Atkins Estimond (Lodge 49), Dohn Norwood (Mindhunter) and James Badge Dale (Rubicon).
