Gina Torres’ Tommy Vega is about to have some changes in her life. According to TVLine, in the upcoming episode “Riddle of the Sphynx” airing on April 11, Tommy meets a fellow widower, Morris, in her grief group and the two go on a date. This date is Tommy’s first since the loss of her husband, Charles, and is said to take an unexpected turn. Morris is played by Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break, Hightown).
To Tommy’s surprise, another man will be appearing in her life as well. Her brother-in-law Julius Vega will be unexpectedly showing up at his nieces’ birthday party in the April 18 episode titled “Impulse Control”. Batwoman and Devious Maids star Nathan Owens will be recurring as Julius. His character, a musician that is in town for shows, hasn’t spoken with Tommy since Charles’ funeral.
