‘Unspeakable’ Starring Laura Vandervoort Out Now!

Fans of Laura Vandervoort (Smallville) rejoice! The day is finally here that fans can see her in a new starring role in Unspeakable! The 15 minute episodic short and television series proof-of-concept follows the journey of a desperate woman (Vandervoort) on the run with no choice but to assume the identity of a girl who went missing as a child. She must keep up the deception or face the consequences of her deception. Vandervoort stars alongside Jeff Kober of SullySons of Anarchy, and The Walking Dead. 

“I read the script and fell in love with this character and story,” said Vandervoort. “Working with David’s words and Milena’s vision is an actor’s dream. They make a dynamic team. We were completely in sync throughout the filming.”

The short is now available to view on both YouTube and Vimeo so check out the riveting short below that will have reel you in and have you wondering days later what she is running from, what she knows about the missing girl, and why she is forced into her decisions.

Unspeakable is directed by Milena Govich (FBIChicago Med) and created by David Cornue (Triage / ABC). Govich recently worked on FBI as the first female Co-EP/Producing Director of a Dick Wolf series and Cornue’s newest series Triage will be airing on ABC soon. Cornue penned the script from his one-hour drama pilot and composed the score and produced alongside Stephen Moffatt and Kate Chamuris.

There is no news yet on if the series will be picked up by a network, but we know that there is already a five season story arc ready to go. We will continue to bring news on Unspeakable and we hope to be reporting very soon that the show will be broadcasting nationwide on a network soon!
