With just a few months to go until its official premiere, a trailer for The Mandalorian has finally been relased. The Mandalorian, written by Jon Favreau, is an upcoming live-action Star Wars television series that will air exclusively on Disney+.

This new story in a galaxy far, far away will take place approximately five years after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The leading role will be played by Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), and he will be joined by the likes of Gina Carano (Haywire), Nick Nolte (Warrior), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Carl Weathers (Predator), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), and more. The first season is set to consist of eight episodes.

The official synopsis is as follows:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the ‘Star Wars’ universe. ‘The Mandalorian’ is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian is set to premiere on Disney+ on Nov 12.
