Video Games Being Released In March

This year is looking to be the year of long-awaited sequels and exciting new games. March is also when San Francisco will hold the 2019 Game Developers Conference (18th-22nd), where attendees discuss various ideas and topics on the future of gaming.

Regardless of the platform you use (Play Station 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, etc.) there is a game coming out for you to enjoy playing.

To keep track of all the new video games, here is a list of some anticipated video games released in March.

March 1

Dead or Alive 6 (PS4, XBO, PC)

This fighting game is a triangle system fight style of holds, throws, and strikes. New to this chapter is a special attack meter, stages, slow-motion moments, and custom costume mode. Some new characters are joining the many returning that players can choose.

ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove (PS4, PC, NS, XBO)

ToeJam and Earl are back with floating islands and hip-hop. The game will feature nine different characters players can choose from to play this isometric viewpoint.

Dark Souls Trilogy (PS4, XBO)

Players in Europe can now build weapons, armor, magic, and other options. This three-disc collection includes remastered original Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades.

March 5

Left Alive (PS4, PC)

This is a survival action shooter game telling the story from three different protagonists, set in the invasion set war-torn Novo Slava in 2127. Players can choose their playing style and have gun battles, set traps, and try to survive the war.

March 7

Devil May Cry 5 (PS4, XBO, PC)

It has been several years since the fourth Devil May Cry and a new character wants to hire helps to solve demon attacks. Players will fight off demons playing as either Dante, Nero, or V. Each figure comes with their weapons and music.

March 12

The Caligula Effect: Overdose (PS4, NS, PC)

In anime style, the role-playing video game set in Mobius a virtual reality where people can escape their lives. Players try to escape with their fellow students to return to reality by fighting the ones that want to keep them there.

March 15

The Division 2 (PS4, XBO, PC)

This sequel game set seven months later is played in third-person. In Washington D.C, a civil war between survivors and some marauders breaks out. Players are part of the Divisions and must complete missions with their skills to save D.C.

One Piece: World Seeker (PS4, XBO, PC)

Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates battle and explore a Jail Island in a new world. Players have battles and explore and see them in Luffy’s point of view.

March 19

American Ninja Warrior Challenge (PS4, XBO, NS)

Players can customize their athlete and take on Ninja Warrior obstacles including the Warped Wall, Floating Steps and more! Can you get to the buzzer?

March 21

The Sinking City (PS4, XBO, PC)

H.P. Lovecraft inspires this mystery horror game has players in New England where a massive flood has the citizens in panic. As 1920 private investigator Charles W. Reed, players try to uncover the mysterious events that caused everyone to go mad.

March 22

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PS4, XBO, PC)

On the quest for revenge, players become a shinobi named Sekiro. He was left for dead goes after a samurai had kidnapped his lord.

March 26

The Princess Guide (PS4, NS)

Players become a great master of combat knowledge. Four princesses from four different nations need your help and guidance. Which will you choose; their fate lies in your choices.

Danganronpa Trilogy (PS4)

A prestigious high school named Hope Peak Academy is where the “ultimate” students go. Monokuma, a maniacal bear, takes them prisoner and plays a deadly game. Games included are Danganronpa 1, 2 Reload, V3: Killing Harmony.

Generation Zero (PS4, XBO, PC)

In this hostile open world, players will experience vast changes in weather as they fight the complex machines that have invaded.

Outward (PS4, XBO, PC)

It begins with a question. “What would it really be like to live the life of an adventurer?”

That is what players do, live the life of an adventurer – living alone, and relying on your knowledge and skills to survive.

Our World Is Ended (PS4, NS)

This game follows Judgement 7 (a team of developers working on a game called W.O.R.L.D.). After a test run has gone wrong, Judgment 7 find themselves between fiction and reality.

March 29

Tropico 6 (PS4, XBO, PC)

In this construction management simulation game, players can build on small islands and build bridges between them. Players take the role of El Presidente, a leader of Tropico (a Caribbean Island) where how you govern effects productivity. There are four eras just like in the previous game. After some delays, the game is now ready for release.
