Your donation can help make children’s dreams come true. All it takes is a picture with some creative Disney ears and sharing it with that important hashtag. Remember — there isn’t too much time left to participate!
In honor of this event, here are two of my own #ShareYourEars photos:
Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes. Image courtesy of IMDB.
Even though Andrew Lincoln has left The Walking Dead television show, we have not seen the last of his character Rick Grimes on our screens. Scott M. Gimple, The Walking Dead chief content officer, has announced that Lincoln will play Rick Grimes in up to three feature-length television films to be shown on AMC. The first film could see production beginning in 2019.
“The story of Rick will go on in films. Right now, we’re working on three but there’s flexibility in that.… Over the next several years, we’re going to be doing specials, new series are quite a possibility, high-quality digital content and then some content that defies description at the moment. We’re going to dig into the past and see old characters. We’re going to introduce new characters and new situations.”
Lincoln himself hinted at his return to the popular franchise on AMC’s after-show, The Talking Dead. He said on the November 4th episode of the show, “It’s not the beginning of the end, it’s the end of the beginning. And I like the idea that we get to tell a bigger story, maybe with a sort of wider vista.”
Listen to the sheriff, the story of #TWD is far from over. #TalkingDead
Niko (Ellen Tamaki) and her partner Trip (Brendon Zub) come to ask the sisters when was the last time they saw Angela since her mom has filled out a missing person report. While they are talking, there is a loud noise coming from the attic. As Trip is about to go check it out, a woman comes out claiming to be an interior designer and she apologizes for the loud noise from the attic remodel. Once the officers leave, she introduces herself as the elder Charity (Virginia Williams). They have come to a solution about the demon, they have to kill it with a dagger under the full moon.
Mel does not want to kill the demon possessing Angela until they know 100% that they cannot save her. In arguing with Charity, it is revealed that more elders have been killed, and that included their mother. Mel gets angry at Harry (Rupert Evans) for not telling them their mother was an elder. Charity takes Harry’s voice to stop the argument because there is no time.
Instead of doing what Charity asked her to do, Mel casts a spell to see if Angela’s soul is still inside her body. The spell works, it turns out that Angela is still alive and can be saved by a powerful exorcism but, Charity does not think it will work. Wanting to do everything she can to save Angela, Mel goes to the university with the demon in the trunk of her car to go get Maggie to help.
During lunch Trip tells Niko that he thinks the sisters are hiding something, she dismisses his concern. When Mel goes to the university to get her sister, she notices that Trip is following them. Mel uses her powers to freeze time and they drive off leaving a confused Trip behind.
They take the demon to the warehouse where the homecoming sorority float is and perform the Exorcism. When they ask the Book of Shadows for help, it goes to a blank page. When Macy arrives saying she will help, they take hands and something appears on the page. Harry mentions that prophesying was their mother’s power and new this moment would happen. Charity confirms it is a powerful exorcism spell.
Charity breaks the rules and allows them to perform the powerful spell to save Angela. Each of the sisters has to approach the demon saying their part of the spell using the power of three for it to work.
During the spell, Trip who followed them there, comes in thinking they are hurting Angela and raises his gun telling them to stop. Charity makes his gun disappear, so they can finish the spell. The spell works, and the sisters save Angela and have trapped the demon in an old paint can. Once everything is settled in the warehouse, Mel notices that Trip is dead, having been hit by debris. Charity tells them to go she will take care of it, so it does not come back to them.
As Mel holds Niko who is crying, Niko exclaims that they found Trip’s body in the warehouse and he had committed suicide. She then goes on saying that they even found evidence pointing the Halloween murders (from the previous episode) to Trip. Feeling guilty, Mel holds her girlfriend as she cries for the loss of her partner and friend.
The episode ends with Charity in an elevator with a man and he flashes his eyes at her and she changes paint cans with him.
Matt Cohen’s crowdfunding campaign for action-adventure short film Mama Bear is well on its way to being a reality with filming beginning this weekend. With over one-quarter of the target goal raised, Matt is offering a host of amazing perks for those who want to support his directorial debut.
Among the perks is exclusive access to Matt’s own behind-the-scenes video diary. What will the video diary entail? Matt has shared a sample of what donors who select this perk can expect:
Mama Bear will follow the female main character who has just 24 hours to save her dying four-year old in need of a liver transplant. The only viable donor is her ex-kingpin boyfriend, but that won’t stop her from saving her child’s life.
The female lead will be played by Mandy Musgrave (South of Nowhere). We will also see many familiar faces including Rob Benedict, Briana Buckmaster, Richard Speight, Jr., Jim Beaver, Jason Manns, and Adam Fergus.
This past weekend, the Supernatural cast took Minneapolis by storm, coming to town with Creation Entertainment‘s Supernatural conventions. The three-day event brought panels, photo-ops, karaoke, and Saturday Night Special, a concert hosted on Saturday Nights featuring Louden Swain.
One of our staff photographers, Kelsi Sickmann, was there to capture some amazing pictures during the concert. The photos feature Louden Swain (Rob Benedict, Billy Moran, Stephen Norton and Michael Borja), Briana Buckmaster, Kim Rhodes, Ruth Connell, Matt Cohen, Richard Speight, Jr. and Rachel Miner.

In the latest Bad Blood episode “That Ship Has Sailed,” we see Declan (Kim Coates) getting the money together that he owes to the Mexican Cartel. Meanwhile, Reggie (Ryan McDonald) is getting his wounds cleaned and bandaged by Rose (Sharon Taylor), and Declan wants to keep him close and to come with him to the shipyard to drop off the money. They find the shipping container that is going to Mexico and pack the bags of money in the crate with baby car seats, where Reggie asks why he does not just rob from the containers.

When they are almost done, Declan gets a call from his shipyard contact to say that the cops showed up to do a random search. When the cops are checking shipping containers that are cleared to go, they notice that the tape on one is missing, so they open it to investigate. During their search, they find the money. But just as one of the cops goes to call it in, the other cop tells him not to. And while all of that is happening, Declan and Reggie are hiding behind the container listening in to their conversation. The officer who wants nothing to do with taking the money leaves. Declan points his gun at the one left, telling him to leave it where he found it. When the cop turns around, he has his gun pointed at Declan, so Reggie hits the cop with a crowbar to knock him out.

As the cop is lying on the ground, blood starts to pool around his head — the hit has killed him. To hide his body, they put it in the shipping container heading to Mexico along with the money. What Declan does not know is that this was seen by an associate of the Mexican Cartel, who then informs Declan that they will no longer be working with him because of all the issues
Val (Melanie Scrofano) goes to see Detective Bullock (Lisa Berry) to see if she will help to try to get Nats (Dylan Taylor) released from prison, because she wants her husband home. Bullock tells Val that she still needs her to get information regardless of the fact that her husband is in jail. Detective Bullock will not do a deal to help, so Val tells her they are done and leaves.

Nats is in the courtyard when Bobby (Brandon Oakes), Rose’s brother, walks over and introduces himself as the person Domenic (Louis Ferreira) hired for protection. Val goes to visit Nats and ends up telling him everything, including how she cheated on him and talked with a detective. Nats yells at her and asks what information she gave the police. She mentions the fentanyl and, in a fit of rage, he grabs her throat before he is taken away by the prison guards.

Detective Bullock, having heard everything from the listening device planted in the visitation room, goes to Val’s house and tells her that they will kill her. Val does not want anything to do with her anymore and goes back inside.
Domenic, Enzo (Daniel Kash), and Luca (Franco Lo Presti) talk about what to do with the fentanyl. Domenic puts Luca in charge of working with the twins.

At the church, the twins are showing Luca how they will be making the drugs, but he is uninterested in the process and walks away. The twins want him to show them how he plans to distribute up close. They stop in front of a daycare, and Luca talks to three women and they exchange bags. When he gets back into the vehicle, he explains that they are family and that “you start with people you trust.”

Riverdale fans are buzzing over Five Feet Apart, a new movie from CBS Films that stars their very own Cole Sprouse and is set to release March 22, 2019. In the romantic drama, which was written by Mikky Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson portray two people suffering from Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is a life-threatening terminal illness that leads to chronic infection of the lungs.
The pair are patients being treated at the same hospital but can be no closer to each other than six feet apart due to the risk of infection. Sprouse’s character Will is obstinate and stubborn about taking the medication he needs, while Richardson’s Stella vlogs about living with the disease, embracing the treatments as necessary. Opposites become inseparable and then are plagued by the pull to be together.
Reactions to the story line have been mixed. There are some who feel the movie is a wonderful way to deliver representation and awareness of CF and those who suffer from it. But others feel like it smacks of exploitation and is another example of Hollywood using able-bodied actors to play terminal-illness sufferers as a way to make the healthy feel relieved that they do not have these struggles.
However you feel about it, the actors appear to have taken their roles seriously. It has been reported that the pair spent time with Claire’s Place Foundation and its founder, activist Claire Wineland (who sadly passed away in September), in an attempt to prepare themselves for the role. Sprouse is quoted as having said in a recent Teen Vogue article, “There are some roles that carry a real responsibility for accurate representation, this was one of them.”
A teaser trailer was released on November 2. Take a look below and let us know what you think!
Morrison announced the release date on her Twitter, stating:
I had such an amazing experience working with first time director @alexpettyfer I am very proud to be a part of this film.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Pettyfer plays Harley, a young man “dealing with the challenges of adulthood when his mother (Juliette Lewis) is suddenly imprisoned for killing his father.”
