On this week’s podcast episode of Reign with Josh Smith, Smith talks with Billie Piper who played Rose Tyler, The Doctor’s companion in seasons 1 and 2 of the revival of Doctor Who.
Smith and Piper sits down to discuss dancing, her show I Hate Suzie, teenage stardom and more:
“Today Billie joins us to talk about being a horny dancer (same here!) – tis the season, after all – and how exploring anxiety and mental health on ‘I Hate Suzie’ has impacted her own well being. Billie also opens up about how seeing her 14 year old son grow up has made her reflect further on her own teenage stardom and the advice she wishes she could go back and give her popstar self. She also shares some great words about balance and pressure which I think we all need to hear and will relate to, and about finding a new level of confidence turning 40 this year.”
Piper is currently starring in the second season of I Hate Suzie which she co-wrote with Lucy Prebble. She also recently went back to the fan-favorite role of Rose Tyler for Big Finish in the second volume of Rose Tyler: The Dimension Cannon.
